Refund Policy

Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Deposit and Booking

A deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your participation in the selected excursion or activity. The deposit may be partially refunded as specified below.

2. Cancellations by the Client

  • For bookings cancelled up to 40 days before the start of the requested service, the client will receive a 100% refund (minus a 10% administrative fee to cover time spent on communication, secretarial work, and transaction costs).
  • For bookings cancelled up to 8 days before the start of the requested service, the client will receive a 50% refund (minus a 10% administrative fee).
  • For cancellations outside of the above terms, it is no longer possible to modify or cancel the booking, and there is no right to a refund. See Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code.

3. Cancellations due to Bad Weather or other Unforeseen Circumstances

Suppose weather conditions or other circumstances beyond my control (such as sudden closures of climbing routes or safety interventions) prevent the activity from taking place. In that case, the entire deposit will be refunded. If possible, I may propose a new date for the activity.

4. Cancellations due to Illness or Unforeseen Emergencies

If you are unable to participate due to illness or an unforeseen emergency, a valid medical certificate is required to justify the cancellation and request a refund.
If the certificate is submitted at least 8 days prior to the scheduled activity, a full refund will be issued, minus a 10% administrative fee.
For cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the activity, rescheduling for a future date may be considered. In such cases, a credit will be issued, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, net of a 10% administrative fee.

5. Booking transfer

Suppose you are unable to attend the activity. In that case, you may transfer the booking to another person (e.g., a partner, friend, or family member), provided that their details are communicated to us in advance. No additional costs will apply.

6. Booking Modifications

If you wish to change the date of your excursion, I will be happy to assist you in finding a new available date. Changes must be requested at least 8 days before the original date. If you cannot find a suitable alternative, the deposit will be forfeited.

7. Early termination of the activity by the Client:

Suppose you choose to discontinue an activity (such as via ferrata, climbing, or skiing) after it has started. In that case, you will still be required to pay the full agreed amount, regardless of the interruption, since the booking was confirmed and organizational costs have already been incurred.

Additional notes:

  • The refund and cancellation policy applies only to individual or small group activities, with a single client or a limited group of participants present. Customized excursions or large groups may be subject to different conditions.
  • This policy applies only to activities directly guided by Guide Dolomiti. Other services or experiences may be subject to different terms and conditions.
