Have you ever tried an evening walk with snowshoes, perhaps in moonlight, in a fairy-tale atmosphere?
I’m not talking about an exhausting hike but a short, relaxing walk on terrain which looks as soft and white as cotton.
And on top of all this, there’s a happy ending too, a tasty dinner in a magical place where you can try out local specialities and Dolomite delicacies!
When we think of wellness it should not be simply a matter of saunas and massages: wellness is a lifestyle philosophy which puts personal wellbeing centre stage, proposing sporting activities combined with appropriate nutrition favouring a state of wellbeing and psychological and physical equilibrium.
The word wellness spread all around the world when people realised that modern society exposes people to physical and psychological stress which is the cause of many illnesses.
For this reason, even if you are not sporty in the classic sense, don’t miss out on a chance to enjoy an experience which is as satisfying for the spirit as it is natural for the body. Yes, as natural as walking, even though lots of people seem to have forgotten it 🙂
This is wellness too: a winter trip out with snowshoes is something everyone can do as I have already shown on the snowshoes page.
