Francesca on Col dei Bos, new route!
The route follows the obvious grey-black strek up the steep SE Face. 250m up excellent rock, with difficulties usually in the region of 6b and one 6c/6c+ pitch. Despite being protected by bolts, climbers must neverthelss be capable of easily climbing 6c.
GETTING THERE
From Cortina take the SS48 towards Passo Falzarego and park at “Ra Nona”.
ACCESS
Walk up path #412, just before the tunnel head left following steep strack to the gully to the right of the Col di Bos arete breached by Via Alverà-Menardi. Scramble up the sree slope to reach the obvious start.
DESCENT
Descend to the col at Col di Bos then continue along path # 402.
GEAR
The route is protected by bolts, climbers must neverthelss be capable of easily climbing 6c.
